Through our global distribution network, we deliver software products and services that help organizations manage and leverage the value of corporate information. In partnership with leading enterprise technology companies, we have installed more than 90,000 systems in 95 countries in companies of all sizes, including the entire current Fortune 100. Captaris products broadly address the Enterprise Content Management (“ECM”) and related markets; we specifically target the fax server market, which is divided into network fax and production fax, e-document delivery, as well as related business process automation, workflow and archiving and records management markets. We distribute our products primarily through independent distributors and value-added resellers. Our products run on off-the-shelf server hardware and on Microsoft certified software platforms including Microsoft® Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows XP. We utilize the Microsoft.NET development tools widely in our suite of products, and interface with a wide variety of hardware equipment and enterprise software products.
