Our History

eMag Solutions is a 41 year old privately held company that was one of the world's foremost tape manufacturers. We originally manufactured under the names of Graham™, CDC™, Memorex™, StorageMaster™ and many others. Approximately 30 years ago, eMag began to move into the services arena performing data recoveries, conversions and extractions for our data center customers. Forty years later, our success working in data center environments has enabled us to create a team of expert and experienced professionals with unparalleled knowledge of data media, its capability, application and potential.

Today

Today eMag is an Electronic Discovery company specializing in accessing data from a variety of archived sources reducing business risk for our global clients. We have data centers located in Atlanta, GA, Graham, TX, New York, NY, San Diego, CA, and two locations in the UK (Wales & Lewes) giving our worldwide client base timely and local access to our electronic data discovery services. Our core competence is tape processing, and our award winning in-house tape software permits us to restore data non-natively. Simply put - we do not need the original software or hardware configurations used to backup the data and thus we are able to extract your data quicker and more cost effectively. eMag gives you access to your data, past, present and future.

Media and Media Services

Today through our Graham Magnetics division, we recycle and recertify tape media and cleaning cartridges. Graham is actively involved in helping our customers protect and conserve the environment. Recertified media is not only good for the environment and lower costing, but it is tested on OEM tape drives and test equipment using methods that were often employed in the 100% certification of newly manufactured tape so it's extremely reliable.
