Business Description We
are a leading temporary healthcare staffing company and the largest provider
of per diem nurse staffing services (staffing assignments of less than
thirteen weeks in duration) in the United States as measured by revenues.
Our per diem staffing assignments place our professionals, predominately
nurses, at hospitals and other healthcare facilities to solve our clients’
temporary staffing needs. We believe we are also a leading provider of
specialized radiology and diagnostic imaging specialists and clinical
laboratory technicians, or “allied health” professionals, as measured by
revenues. We serve our clients through what we believe to be the largest
temporary healthcare staffing network in the United States, which was
comprised as of December 26, 2004 of over 125 per diem branches that provide
nurse staffing on a per diem basis in over 40 states. Our extensive client
base includes over 7,000 healthcare facilities including leading for-profit
and not-for-profit hospitals, leading teaching hospitals and regional
healthcare providers. We do not receive a material portion of our revenues
from Medicare or Medicaid reimbursements or similar state reimbursement
programs. |
